ITINERARY 1

Day 1, Arrive Colombo
Arrive at Bandaranayake International Airport where you will be welcomed by your chauffeur guide.
Overnight: Cinnamon Grand

Day 2, Colombo - Kandy (3 Hours)
Drive to Kandy, one of the most scenic cities in Sri Lanka. Visit the Pinnawela elephant orphanage en route. Feeding time and bathing in the river are the best time to visit the gentle giants.
Indulge yourself in the Cultural Dance show comprising of various Dance forms, including Dances from the Low Country areas and the more elaborate Kandyan Dance form.

Day 3, Kandy - Peradeniya
Today visit the Royal Botanical Garden which was originally a pleasure garden of the last Queen of Kandy. The best known attraction in the Orchid house which houses more than 300 varieties of orchids. The spice garden gives you a firsthand introduction to the trees, plants and creepers that produce the special spices of Sri Lanka.
Later visit the Temple of the Tooth which houses the sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha and is one of the Holiest Buddhist places of worship in the world.
Every year the Tooth Relic is paraded the street which known as the Esala Perehera, easily the most colourful pageant of Asia, held in July/August each year in honor of the Tooth Relic. As the pageantry of the Esala Perehera unfolds through ten nights each year the city takes on the air of a torch lit dreamland complete with hundreds of more colourfully caparisoned elephants, drummers and dancers and chieftain in the rare colourful trappings of the old kingdom.

Day 4, Kandy - Tea Country (2 hrs 30mins)
Learn the nuances of tea manufacturing at tea factory en route. Experience this unique opportunity to sip the tea as soon as it is produced.

Day 5, Nuwara Eliya
Soft trek to the world's end cliff where you could see the low country approximately 1000 ft. below and the cascading Bakers falls.

Day 6, Nuwara Eliya - Galle
A UNESCO declared World Heritage Site, the magnificent Dutch Fort is the most popular attraction of the town. The 300 year old Dutch influence is still very much alive around the fort and amidst its many historical buildings not invaded by the skyscrapers. The exotic beach of Unawatuna is just 15minutes drive from the city centre.

Day 7, Galle - Colombo
Depart for Colombo Airport for home bound flight connections or extend your stay at one of the beach resorts in Sri Lanka.
